By accessing or using Patent Bar Studio (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Patent Bar Studio is an online study platform designed to help users prepare for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registration examination (“patent bar”). The Service provides guided study materials, practice questions, mock exams, flashcards, and progress tracking tools.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for all charges incurred under your account.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content provided through it, including but not limited to study materials, questions, explanations, logos, design elements, and software code, are the intellectual property of Patent Bar Studio and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service content without our express written permission. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial study use only.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated means to access or interact with the Service

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the study content or the availability of the Service. Patent Bar Studio is not affiliated with the USPTO, and use of the Service does not guarantee a passing score on the patent bar examination.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patent Bar Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to exam results, lost profits, or data loss.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
